I like how “An underpaid blue-collar worker named Mike is forced by his employer into an isolated and inescapable environment with 4 robots while he attempts to keep a grip on his sanity” is a description that can describe both Five Nights at Freddys as well as Mystery Science Theater 3000.

In every thing you set out to do, put in all the energy you can. Preferably dark energy harvested from the heart of a black hole.

reblogbookclub time again! The book is Brown Girl Dreaming by Jacqueline Woodson, a memoir in free verse about growing up during the civil rights movement, and childhood in general.
I’m behind on the reading, so this sketch is kind of based on the cover, but I’m really enjoying it thus far. Poetry has a way of conveying the emotion of events far better than textbook facts or straight telling.
Anyways. You all should pick it up! I’m excited to read more.
